Fruit Picking

A great way to travel and work in Australia, check out the seasons and locations of fruit picking in Australia. As well, it qualifies you to extend your Australian Working Holiday Visa for another year.
This is hard yakka (Australian term meaning work) and only for the physically minded – if you spend most of your time playing PS3 or surfing the net, then maybe leave this work to others. If you like being outside, working hard and sweating in the open, then fruit picking is made for you!

It will involve working in a group of fellow travellers in some great locations around Australia and most importantly, the pay is good to reward you for that hard yakka. One of the best things about fruit picking is that it qualifies you to extend your Australian Working Holiday Visa for another year. You need to do 3 months of seasonal work in a regional area in order to qualify.
